Honeywell Prestige 2.0 Red-link Zone System Install and Review

Last July we suffered a great loss due to a cabin fire. We are now  done with our new cabin and we were able to design the duct work and zone system to our liking. I gotta say this has been on of  my favorite jobs in a while. We were able to take a 2 level +loft cabin and install four zones of  forced air. One basement zone, two main floor zones,(one lake side, one road side) and a loft zone.
One zone is not visible from this picture. We used zone first motors. These zone motors are very easy to install and work very well. We wanted to be able to remotely access this system and found the perfect solution, Honeywell's Red Link system. Red link is Honeywell's proprietary wireless system thermostat system. With just one thermostat we can control the Furnace, A/C, HRV and Humidifier  We can also access this system from a pc or a smart phone via Android and Iphone apps.
Here is a picture of the zone board and controls. In the middle is the Honeywell True Zone panel. On the left is the Red Link zoning adapter. Three of the four thermostats communicate with this zone board wirelessly via the Red Link zoning adapter. One this right is the electronic interface module for the final stat on our system the Prestige 2.0. This module is hard wired into the zone board. The module talks the the Prestige and is controlling the humidifier and HRV. What is also neat about this module is that is has dry contacts on the board so you could wire in a sump alarm and receive and email notification of a failure. You can also receive low/high temp alerts on up to six email address. You can now rest assured on your next vacation !

I cant tell you how much I love this system and installing them.
